JOY111 M2, a DIN-Rail prepaid meter, consists of two parts, MCU (Metering Control Unit) and CIU (Customer Interface Unit), which communicate via a non-polarized twin-core cable.
The MCU can be installed outside house in a meter box and communicates with the CIU via non-polarized 2-wire communication, while the CIU is installed in customer’s house. It provides more safe and easier daily operation.
